Migration and upgrade programs

Cloud, virtual desktop, and operating system programs.

Problem
Large migrations and upgrades touch many teams and need a single plan and a weekly status report.
My role
Project manager for six programs in 2026: a monitoring rollout, a platform consolidation, a virtual desktop migration, a cloud region migration, an operating system end of life upgrade, and a customer remediation.
Approach
Kickoff requirements, milestone plans, task imports, weekly status reports, and blocker tracking. AI drafts the meeting notes, which I check for accuracy, and Python scripts turn meeting transcripts into task imports.
Technology
  • HaloITSM projects
  • Excel
  • Python
  • AI meeting notes
Result
Ongoing program work since January 2026.
Day-to-day job

Project reporting inside the service desk

Status, executive, and incident reports in HaloITSM.

Problem
Project status lived in slide decks and email instead of the system where the work was tracked.
My role
Author and maintainer.
Approach
SQL and HTML reports built inside HaloITSM: weekly project status, executive summaries, milestones, kickoff and closure, incident review dashboards, a knowledge base ownership audit, and team utilization. A standard task import template, with an AI skill that checks names, dates, and required values before anything is imported.
Technology
  • SQL
  • HTML
  • HaloITSM
  • Excel
  • Claude skill
Result
Built and maintained since April 2026.

Knowledge base migration tool

Turning old attachments into searchable articles.

Problem
Support documentation sat in old Word and PDF attachments that were hard to find.
My role
Sole builder.
Approach
A guided tool turns exported files into a list people can review, flags duplicates, then creates searchable HaloITSM knowledge base drafts with images and a reviewer checklist. It never approves an article; people do.
Technology
  • Python
  • Word automation
  • HaloITSM API
Result
In use by a team since September 2026.
Day-to-day job

Service desk governance and intake

Intake, API access, priority, and quality measures.

Problem
New integrations and AI builds were reaching the service desk platform without scoping or approval.
My role
Owner of the HaloITSM API.
Approach
An intake form for AI Challenge builders, an API access process with a proposed change gate, a four level problem priority model based on ITIL, a first time pass quality report, and a plan to compare estimated and logged effort.
Technology
  • HaloITSM
  • ITIL
Result
Designed between May and September 2026.

Applied AI experiments

Ongoing

Applied AI Workflow Lab

AI workflows for planning, documentation, and status reporting.

Problem
Project work carries a lot of admin: planning, research, documentation, status reporting, and execution tracking.
My role
Exploring and building practical AI workflows for that work.
Approach
AI takes on the drafting and organizing to reduce admin drag, while human review and decision making stay in control.
Result
Ongoing.

Project Operations Automation Toolkit

Small automations for project follow through.

Problem
Project notes, task handoffs, follow ups, and status updates get scattered, which makes work harder to track and finish.
My role
Designing small workflow automations that organize notes, handoffs, follow ups, and status updates.
Approach
Keep each automation small and focused, so project work is easier to track, explain, and finish.
Result
In progress.
